To whom it may concern, Good morning. We would like to inform you that we’ve been authorized by Emirates Authority for Standardization & Metrology (ESMA) to perform the legal verification of electronic balances (weighing scales) in the Emirate of Dubai. In this regard, we are going to make an inspection visit to your company to verify if your weighing scales are complying with the requirements of the regulation. Please provide us with the required details and information as follows: • List of sites or branches you have and their locations (preferably with known nearest land mark). • Number of electronic balances available and their maximum capacities. • Name of person in-charge and office/mobile number for each branch. • Trade license Number for each branch (please provide a photocopy of license as well during our visit). Please take note that there will be charges for each verification (passed or failed) based on the class III requirement in table of attached document Ref No# 002047. If electronic balances complied the verification, a verified (passed) stickers will be provided and it will be valid for two years starting from the date of verification. Rejected/Failed balances are not allowed to be used and has to be removed from the shop. We are strongly recommending you to have your electronic balances calibrated and make it periodically to ensure that they are always accurate. Thanks and regards,
